Her knowledge and understanding of issues faced by family-operated businesses was gained from working as the accountant in many businesses including hotels, property development and tourism operations. Corporate work in Brisbane and Sydney also gave Denise exposure to mining, stock broking and trade finance. Denise keeps up to date with self-managed superannuation and financial planning in addition to tax and accounting developments.
